An electronic audio recording may be provided on some cases in the Superior Court of California, County of Orange. Pursuant to Government Code Section 69957, misdemeanor, infraction, and limited civil cases may be electronically recorded by the Court. Recordings are subject to availability of equipment.

How do I get a copy of a proceeding utilizing electronic recording? Copies of electronically recorded proceedings are available on CD, and cost $10.00 per disc. Requests for CD of recording may be submitted via a JIRA request. In order to process your request, please complete the JIRA request form by clicking on the electronic audio request button below.

Please allow 10-15 working days for the request to be processed. You will be contacted when the disc is ready to be picked up.

Parties are responsible for making their own arrangements for paper transcripts of electronically recorded proceedings. The Court does not provide references for transcription services.
