Trump’s second inauguration celebration will last four days. Here’s the schedule

The inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump will kick off Saturday and run through Tuesday, the Trump Vance Inaugural Committee announced Monday.

The official 60^th Presidential Inauguration festivities will begin with fireworks at Trump’s Washington, D.C., golf course and will run through more than a dozen events including a rally, a parade and three inaugural balls in addition to the official swearing-in ceremony at the U.S. Capitol on Monday, Jan. 20.

“President Trump is dedicated to uniting the country through the strength, security and opportunity of his America First agenda,” Trump Vance Inaugural Committee co-chairs Steve Witkoff and Kelly Loeffler said in a statement. “The 2025 inaugural celebrations will reflect President-elect Trump’s historic return to the White House and the American people’s decisive vote to Make America Great Again.”

The president-elect has raised a record $170 million for his inauguration/ At least 250,000 people are expected to attend, according to the U.S. Secret Service.

Saturday, Jan. 18, 2025 

• The President’s Reception and Fireworks at Trump National Golf Club in Potomac Falls, Va.
• Cabinet Reception and Vice President’s Dinner at the National Gallery of Art in Washington

Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025 

• A wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery Ceremony
• Trump delivers remarks at a “Make America Great Again Victory Rally” at Capital One Arena in Washington at 3 p.m.
• Trump delivers remarks at a candlelight dinner at the National Building Museum in Washington

Monday, Jan. 20, 2025 

• St. John’s Episcopal Church service
• Tea at the White House
• Swearing-in Ceremony at the U.S. Capitol with Trump’s swearing-in scheduled for noon
• Farewell to former President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris
• U.S. Capitol Departure Ceremony
• The President’s Signing Room Ceremony
• The Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies’ congressional luncheon
• The President’s Review of the Troops
• Presidential Parade on Washington’s Pennsylvania Avenue with nearly 7,500 participants expected to participate.
• Oval Office Signing Ceremony at the White House
• Trump delivers remarks at the Commander in Chief Ball
• Trump delivers remarks at the Liberty Inaugural Ball
• Trump delivers remarks at the Starlight Ball

Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025
