Proverbs 30:3-4 (ESV)
3: I have not learned wisdom, nor have I knowledge of the Holy One.
4: Who has ascended to heaven and come down? Who has gathered the wind in his fists? Who has wrapped up the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son’s name? Surely you know!
God’s Sovereignty: These questions highlight God’s absolute sovereignty and unique power. No human can perform these actions, demonstrating that they are beyond mortal comprehension or ability.
The Search for God’s Name: The final question asks for God’s name and the name of His son, implying that this knowledge is only truly known by God Himself.
